Four options for power are available for the new 2013 Peugeot 4008, which include two petrol motors, a 1.6-liter that makes 115hp mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, a 2.0-liter putting out 150hp with the added CVT transmission option; this 1.6-liter is the only power option not available with an all-wheel drive option.

Two diesel options are included in the 2013 Peugeot 4008 engine specs, starting with a 1.6-liter HDi pushing 115hp that is coupled with a six-speed manual gearbox, and a 1.8-liter HDi that makes 150hp, also mated to a six-speed manual. For the 2013 Peugeot 4008 Europe, the car will be offered with the two HDi diesel engines. In the other countries, the 2013 Peugeot 4008 will be marketed with the most appropriate power train(s).
