It is no surprise that the face lifted Twingo, which made its debut in Frankfurt last year, will get a souped-up Renaultsport edition called the 2012 Renault Twingo RS. The 2012 Renault Twingo RSgoes on sale from the middle of next month in Europe, and will be marketed in 20 countries. There’s also a Gordini RS version to pick from, if the 2012 Renault Twingo RS sounds a bit too flashy. The CO2 emissions level of the new 2012 Renault Twingo RS is rated at 150g/km, standing for a 3.2% saving compared to the previous version. 2012 Renault Twingo RS has a fuel consumption figure of 43.5mpg on the combined cycle, a 3% improvement. Meanwhile, the Twingo Gordini RS offers added equipment over the standard 2012 Renault Twingo RS, such as twin body stripes, 17-inch diamond-effect black alloy wheels, leather trim and climate control. Its pricing will be revealed next month, which is when the company would start taking orders.
